Can NRIs Get Aadhaar?

Yes. Since the Aadhaar and Other Laws (Amendment) Act, 2019, NRIs (Non-Resident Indians) holding an Indian passport can apply for Aadhaar without the 182-day waiting period that was previously required.

Earlier, only residents who had lived in India for 182 days or more in the preceding 12 months were eligible. This restriction has been removed for NRIs with a valid Indian passport.
