UP Divyang Pension Yojana (Uttar Pradesh Disability Pension Scheme) provides a monthly pension of ₹1,000 to persons with 40% or more disability from economically weaker sections. The scheme is managed by the Social Welfare Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh, through the SSPY portal.
What is UP Divyang Pension?
The Uttar Pradesh government provides financial assistance to persons with disabilities (Divyangjan) who are unable to earn a livelihood due to their disability. The pension amount includes the Central Government's share under IGNDPS (for 80%+ disability) and the state contribution. Even persons with 40% disability are eligible for the UP state pension.
