Frequently Asked Questions

1. My father is 65 and a Haryana resident but lives with us in Delhi. Is he eligible?

No. You must be a permanent resident of Haryana currently living in Haryana. Residing outside the state disqualifies you.

2. My mother receives ₹200/month from IGNOAPS. Can she also get Haryana pension?

She cannot get both central (IGNOAPS) and state (Old Age Samman) pension simultaneously — typically only one is given. Check with the DSWO office to confirm which is higher and switchable.

3. How is PPP (Parivar Pehchaan Patra) made?

Visit any CSC (Common Service Centre) or Atal Sewa Kendra with Aadhaar of all family members. The VLE creates the PPP for your family — it is free.

4. My pension was stopped without notice. What do I do?

Visit the DSWO office with your PPP ID and bank passbook. Common reasons: Aadhaar-bank link broken, incorrect data in PPP. Get the issue corrected and pension will resume.

5. The payment shows "sent" on the portal but hasn't reached my bank account. What do I do?

Check if your bank account Aadhaar seeding is active. Visit your bank branch with Aadhaar to verify. Also check with the District Treasury office through the DSWO.
