Gruha Jyothi is one of Karnataka's five guarantee schemes providing free electricity up to 200 units per month to every household. How to Apply / Register for Gruha Jyothi

Online Registration

3. Link your ration card number to the electricity account
4. Verify using Aadhaar OTP
5. Submit the registration
6. Once verified, the free electricity benefit is automatically applied to your monthly bill

Offline Registration

1. Visit your nearest BESCOM / HESCOM / MESCOM / GESCOM / CESC office (your electricity supply company)
2. Carry your ration card, Aadhaar card, and a recent electricity bill
3. Fill the Gruha Jyothi linkage form
4. Submit and collect the acknowledgment
