What is an OCI Card?
The OCI (Overseas Citizen of India) scheme was introduced in 2005 by amending the Citizenship Act, 1955, and launched at the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas convention in 2006. It grants eligible foreign nationals of Indian origin a multiple-entry, multi-purpose, lifelong visa to visit India.

- A child or grandchild of a person eligible under the above categories
- A minor child of a person registered as an OCI
