  4. Set a new login password following SBI's password rules:
    • 8โ€“20 characters
    • At least 1 uppercase, 1 lowercase, 1 digit, and 1 special character
    • No spaces, no part of your username
  5. Log in with the new password.

Fix 2: Account Locked After 3 Incorrect Attempts

SBI automatically locks your internet banking account after 3 consecutive wrong password attempts as a security measure.

How to unlock:

Option A: Wait 24 Hours

The account unlocks automatically after 24 hours. Try logging in again with the correct password.

Option B: Reset Password Immediately

  1. Visit retail.onlinesbi.sbi.
  2. Click "Forgot Login Password".
