Online Application Steps

• Visit passportindia.gov.in

• Login or register new account

• Select 'Re-issue of Passport'

• Fill application form with updated details

• Upload photo and documents

Documents Required

• Old passport (original + photocopy)

• Aadhaar card

• Address proof (if address changed)

• Self-declaration (Annexure forms if needed)

• Recent passport-size photographs

Fees & Appointment

• Normal (36 pages): ₹1,500

• Jumbo (60 pages): ₹2,000

• Tatkal: Additional ₹2,000

• Book appointment at PSK/POPSK

• Pay online via credit/debit card or SBI

At the Passport Office

• Carry original documents + printout

• Token allotted on arrival

• Document verification at counter

• Biometrics and photo capture

• Police verification (if required)

Processing Time

• Normal: 15–30 working days

• Tatkal: 1–3 working days

• Track status on passportindia.gov.in

• Delivered via Speed Post
