Check skillmissionbihar.org for the nearest centre. KYP centres are at every block โ€” the nearest centre may be 5โ€“15 km away. New centres are added regularly.

I am 30 years old. Am I eligible?

No โ€” KYP is for youth aged 15 to 28 years. If you are above 28, consider other skill training options like PMKVY (up to 35โ€“45 years).

Is the KYP certificate valid in other states?

The KYP certificate is issued by Bihar Skill Development Mission and is primarily for Bihar-based employment. For national recognition, also pursue a NSDC/Sector Skill Council certificate through PMKVY.
