What is Bihar Kushal Yuva Programme (KYP)?

Kushal Yuva Programme (KYP) is Bihar government's flagship youth skilling scheme under the 7 Nishchay (Seven Resolutions) programme. It provides free, 240-hour training in:

How long does the training take daily?

KYP is typically conducted for 4–6 hours per day, 6 days a week. The full 240 hours take 6–8 weeks (approximately 1.5–2 months). Some part-time formats may extend to 3–4 months.

Is the KYP certificate valid in other states?

The KYP certificate is issued by Bihar Skill Development Mission and is primarily for Bihar-based employment. For national recognition, also pursue a NSDC/Sector Skill Council certificate through PMKVY.
