What is Mahtari Vandan Yojana?
Mahtari Vandan Yojana is a scheme launched by the Government of Chhattisgarh that gives ₹1,000 every month directly to eligible married women. The money goes straight into the woman's bank account — no middlemen, no cash.
Over a full year, that adds up to ₹12,000 per year.
The scheme started disbursing payments from March 2024 and is currently LIVE — money is being transferred to beneficiaries each month.
The main goal is to help women become financially independent and improve their health and nutrition.

Widowed women may be eligible for this scheme. Visit your nearest Anganwadi centre or gram panchayat office with your documents to confirm and apply.
2. My husband is a government employee. Am I eligible?
No. Women whose husbands are employed in state or central government service are generally not eligible. Confirm this at the official portal or local office.

7. I was approved but I haven't received payment for 2–3 months. What do I do?
First, verify that your Aadhaar is correctly linked to your bank account and that DBT is active on the account. If DBT is active and money still hasn't arrived, contact: Email: dirwcd.cg@gov.in | Phone: 0771-2220006
