What is Sanjay Gandhi Niradhar Anudan Yojana?
Sanjay Gandhi Niradhar Anudan Yojana is a social security pension scheme by the Government of Maharashtra for destitute and vulnerable persons who have no means of livelihood and no family support. It is administered by the Department of Social Justice and Special Assistance.
The scheme provides a monthly pension to help meet basic needs of the most vulnerable sections of society. The pension amount is approximately ₹600-₹1,000 per month depending on the category and government revisions.

- Transgender persons without support
- Destitute women — deserted wives, women victims of atrocities
- Acid attack victims
