  2. Register with mobile + email
  3. Fill application:
    • Personal details (name, DOB, category)
    • HSC details (school, board, PCM/PCB marks)
    • Choose PCM or PCB or both
    • Select exam centre (district)
  4. Upload: photo (white background) + signature + certificate scans
  5. Pay fee:
    • General (UR): ₹800 (PCM) or ₹800 (PCB) or ₹1,500 (both)
    • OBC/EWS Maharashtra: ₹600
    • SC/ST/SBC/NT Maharashtra: ₹600

MHT-CET follows 80% Class 12 + 20% Class 11 Maharashtra State Board syllabus:

Physics: Circular Motion, Gravitation, Rotational Motion, Oscillations, Current Electricity, Magnetism, Electromagnetic Induction, Electrons & Photons, Communication Systems, etc.

Chemistry: Solid State, Solutions, Chemical Thermodynamics, Electrochemistry, Chemical Kinetics, Coordination Compounds, Halogen Derivatives, Organic Acids & Bases, etc.

Mathematics: Trigonometric Functions, Differentiation, Applications of Derivatives, Integration, Differential Equations, Probability Distributions, Matrices, Statistics, etc.

CAP (Centralised Admission Process)

After MHT-CET result, admissions happen via CAP (online centralised counselling):

  1. Registration at CET Cell website
  2. Document verification (domicile, caste certificate, HSC marks)
  3. Choice filling (up to 300 college-branch combinations)
  4. Seat allotment (3 rounds — CAP Round 1, 2, 3)
  5. Reporting to allotted college
