Frequently Asked Questions

Is the ₹25 lakh per person or per family?

Per family per year — the entire family shares ₹25 lakh. If one family member uses ₹5 lakh for surgery, the remaining ₹20 lakh is available for other members in the same year.

My family is not in Jan Aadhaar. Can I register?

First get your family registered in Jan Aadhaar at janaadhaar.rajasthan.gov.in or the nearest e-Mitra kiosk. Jan Aadhaar is Rajasthan's family identity and is required for most state schemes.

Can I use Chiranjeevi in hospitals outside Rajasthan?

Currently, only empanelled hospitals within Rajasthan are covered. For treatment outside Rajasthan, check if the hospital has a special empanelment — some national hospital chains have tie-ups.

Does Chiranjeevi cover maternity and newborn expenses?

Yes — maternity packages including normal delivery, C-section, and newborn complications are covered under the 1,800+ medical packages.

I am a government employee. Am I eligible?

Government employees covered under RGHS (Rajasthan Government Health Scheme) are not eligible for Chiranjeevi. However, contract/daily wage employees of the government can register.

What happens if the hospital charges me despite being under Chiranjeevi?

First, contact the hospital's Chiranjeevi desk. If they still charge, file a complaint at the Chiranjeevi helpline (18001806127) or at chiranjeevi.rajasthan.gov.in → "Grievance."
