What is Mukhyamantri Parivar Samridhi Yojana (MMPSY)?

Mukhyamantri Parivar Samridhi Yojana (MMPSY) is a Haryana government scheme that provides ₹6,000 per year (₹500/month) to BPL and low-income families. The benefit is used to fund:

  • Pension for family members (PM-SYM, PM-LVM, PMMVY)
  • Life and accident insurance premiums (PM Jeevan Jyoti, PM Suraksha Bima)
  • Direct cash to the family

The scheme is bundled with Parivar Pehchaan Patra (PPP) — Haryana's family ID — and auto-enrolls eligible families.

Key Benefits

Component Benefit
Annual cash/benefit ₹6,000/year per family
PM Jeevan Jyoti Bima ₹2 lakh life insurance
PM Suraksha Bima ₹2 lakh accident insurance
PM-SYM pension fund Pension contribution for 18–40 year workers
PM-LVM (traders) Pension contribution for trader members
PMMVY Maternity benefit for pregnant women

The ₹6,000 is essentially used to pay insurance premiums and pension contributions for all eligible schemes — family members get coverage without any out-of-pocket expense.

Who is Eligible?

You ARE eligible if:

  • Your family is a Haryana resident with a Parivar Pehchaan Patra (PPP)
  • Your family's annual income is ₹1.80 lakh or less
  • Your family has 5 acres of land or less
  • You are not a government employee

How to Get MMPSY Benefits

The scheme uses auto-enrollment through the Parivar Pehchaan Patra system:

Step 1 — Ensure PPP is Made

Get your Parivar Pehchaan Patra (Haryana family ID) — visit any CSC/Atal Sewa Kendra.

Step 2 — Income Verification in PPP

Your family's income details in the PPP database are verified. Families with annual income ≤ ₹1.80 lakh and land ≤ 5 acres are automatically identified as eligible.

Step 3 — Scheme Enrollment

Eligible families are auto-enrolled into the sub-schemes:

  • PM Jeevan Jyoti Bima: ₹330/year premium deducted, ₹2L life cover
  • PM Suraksha Bima: ₹12/year premium deducted, ₹2L accident cover
  • PM-SYM: pension contributions for working-age members (18–40 years)

Step 4 — Remaining Cash Transfer

After premium deductions, remaining ₹6,000 amount (or portion) may be credited directly to the family's account — check with Saral Haryana for current status.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. We are a 5-member family and our income is ₹1.5 lakh. Will we get ₹6,000 per person?

No. The ₹6,000 is per family per year, not per member. It covers insurance premiums and pension contributions for eligible family members.

2. I am 35 years old and a laborer. Do I get a pension fund under MMPSY?

Yes. Working-age members (18–40 years) in eligible MMPSY families are enrolled under PM-SYM (₹3,000/month pension at age 60). The government funds your contribution.

3. Our family income is ₹2.5 lakh. Are we excluded?

Yes. The income limit is ₹1.80 lakh/year. Families above this threshold are not covered under MMPSY.

4. We have 7 acres of land. Are we excluded?

Yes. Land holding above 5 acres is an exclusion criterion.

5. I am a widow with no income. Am I automatically covered?

If you have a PPP and your family income is below ₹1.80 lakh, you should be auto-enrolled. Visit the Atal Sewa Kendra to verify your PPP income data and enrollment status.
