What is the Ashirwad Scheme (Punjab)?
The Ashirwad Scheme (also known as Shagun Scheme) is a marriage assistance programme by the Government of Punjab that provides financial aid to economically weaker families for the marriage of their daughters. The scheme specifically targets SC, BC, minority, and BPL families.
