How to Apply for SBI Debit Card Online

Method 1: Via YONO SBI App

  1. Download and log into the YONO SBI app
  2. Go to Cards section from the dashboard
  3. Tap Apply for Debit Card
  4. Select your account number
  5. Choose the card type (Classic / Gold / Platinum / Global)
  6. Verify your delivery address (branch address or registered address)
  7. Confirm the application
  8. The card will be dispatched to your registered address or branch within 7-10 working days

Method 2: Via SBI Net Banking (OnlineSBI)

  1. Visit www.onlinesbi.sbi and log in
  2. Go to e-ServicesATM Card Services
  3. Click Request ATM / Debit Card
  4. Select the account and card variant
  5. Choose delivery option: Branch pickup or Registered address
  6. Submit the request
  7. Note down the reference number for tracking

Method 3: Visit SBI Branch (Offline)

  1. Visit your SBI home branch with a filled debit card application form
  2. Carry a valid photo ID (Aadhaar, PAN, Passport)
  3. Submit the form at the counter
  4. Card will be issued within 7-15 working days

How to Activate SBI Debit Card

Once you receive the card, it must be activated before use:

  1. Visit any SBI ATM
  2. Insert the new debit card
  3. Enter the 4-digit PIN sent via SMS (or the PIN in the sealed envelope)
  4. Select PIN Change → Enter old PIN → Set new PIN
  5. Perform a balance inquiry to confirm activation

Green PIN via SMS

  1. Send SMS: PIN <last 4 digits of card> <last 4 digits of account> to 567676
  2. You will receive a Green PIN via SMS
  3. Use this PIN at any SBI ATM and change it immediately

YONO SBI Activation

  1. Open YONO SBI → CardsActivate Debit Card
  2. Enter card details and OTP
  3. Set your ATM PIN digitally
