What is Soil Health Card?
The Soil Health Card (SHC) Scheme is a Government of India initiative launched in 2015 under the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare. How to Get a Soil Health Card
Through Agriculture Department (Most Common)
- Contact your local agriculture department or Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK)
- Provide your farm details โ location, survey number, crop pattern
- Agriculture officials collect soil samples from your farm
- Samples are tested at district/state soil testing laboratories
- Soil Health Card is generated and delivered to you (typically within 3-6 months)
