The Mukhyamantri Udyam Kranti Yojana is a flagship entrepreneurship promotion scheme of the Government of Madhya Pradesh. It provides bank loans of up to Rs 50 lakh with interest subsidy and loan guarantee to help unemployed youth start their own manufacturing or service businesses.
What is Udyam Kranti Yojana?
Launched by the MP government to reduce unemployment and promote self-employment, the Mukhyamantri Udyam Kranti Yojana enables eligible youth to set up micro and small enterprises. The government provides:
- Interest subsidy of 3% on the bank loan for 7 years
- Loan guarantee fee borne by the state government
- Loans through nationalised banks and scheduled commercial banks
The scheme is implemented by the Department of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), Government of Madhya Pradesh.

Who is Eligible?
- Age: 18 to 40 years
- Education: Minimum Class 12 pass
- Residency: Permanent resident of Madhya Pradesh
- Employment: Must be unemployed (not employed in any government or private organisation)
- Income: Family annual income should not exceed Rs 12,00,000
- Business type: New enterprise (not for existing businesses)
- Not availed before: Should not have availed benefits from similar state/central schemes
- No defaulter: Should not be a defaulter of any bank or financial institution

How to Apply: Step-by-Step Process
Online Application
- Visit the SAMAST portal at samast.mponline.gov.in
- Register with your mobile number and create an account
- Login and select "Mukhyamantri Udyam Kranti Yojana"
- Fill in personal details, educational qualifications, and business plan
- Upload all required documents including project report
- Select the bank branch where you wish to apply for the loan
- Submit the application
- Note the application number for tracking
After Application Submission
- The application is verified by the MSME department
- If eligible, the application is forwarded to the selected bank
- Bank evaluates the project and processes the loan
- After loan sanction, the interest subsidy is directly handled by the government
- Loan guarantee fee is paid by the state government to the guarantee agency

Interest Subsidy Details
