The Banglar Yuva Sathi Scheme (বাংলার যুব সাথী প্রকল্প) is a new financial assistance programme launched by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on 5 February 2026. How to Apply for Banglar Yuva Sathi Scheme

There are two application channels: offline through Duare Sarkar camps, and online through the official portal.

Option 1: Offline Application (Duare Sarkar Camps)

The offline application window ran from 15 February to 26 February 2026 at designated camps across West Bengal.

Steps:

1. Visit your nearest block office, municipal office, or Duare Sarkar camp.
2. Collect and fill out Form-A, the Self-Declaration Form, and the bank mandate form.
3. Submit all required documents (originals for verification, photocopies to attach).
4. Collect your acknowledgement slip — keep it safe for tracking.
5. Late applications after 26 February will not be accepted at camps.

Option 2: Online Application (Portal-Based)

How Banglar Yuva Sathi Differs from Existing West Bengal Youth Schemes

West Bengal already runs youth-focused programmes like Yuvashree Arpan and Yuva Utsaha. Here is how the new scheme compares:

The key difference is the 5-year duration and structured DBT mechanism of Banglar Yuva Sathi, making it a longer-term support system for unemployed youth compared to the annual renewal model of Yuvashree.

Important: You cannot receive benefits from both Banglar Yuva Sathi and Yuvashree Arpan/Yuva Utsaha simultaneously. If you are already enrolled in one of those schemes, you are not eligible for this scheme.
