What is Delhi Widow Pension Scheme?
The Delhi Widow Pension Scheme provides a monthly pension of ₹2,500 to widowed women residing in Delhi. Administered by the Department of Social Welfare, Government of NCT of Delhi, this scheme supports women who have lost their husbands and need financial assistance.
Who is Eligible?
- Marital Status: Must be a widow (husband deceased)
- Age: Must be 18 years or older
- Residency: Must have lived in Delhi for at least 5 years
- Income: Annual family income should not exceed ₹1,00,000
- Re-marriage: Must not have remarried
- Other Pension: Must not be receiving any other government pension
