What is the Gruha Lakshmi Scheme?

The Gruha Lakshmi scheme is a flagship welfare program launched by the Karnataka state government to provide financial assistance of ₹2,000 per month to women heads of households. This is one of five guarantee schemes launched by the Karnataka government and has benefited over 1 crore women across the state.

Who is Eligible?
