What is Ladli Behna Yojana?
Ladli Behna Yojana is a flagship welfare scheme of the Madhya Pradesh government that provides ₹1,250 per month (₹15,000 per year) to eligible women in the state. Launched in 2023, the scheme aims to promote women's economic independence, improve their health and nutrition, and strengthen their role in family decision-making.

- Must be a resident of Madhya Pradesh
- Must be married (including widowed, divorced, and separated women)
- Family annual income should not exceed ₹2,50,000
- Must have a Samagra ID (Madhya Pradesh family identification)
- Must not be an income tax payer
- Family should not own more than 5 acres of agricultural land
Who is NOT Eligible
- Unmarried women below 21 or women of any age who have never been married
- Government employees (state/central) or their spouses
- Income tax-paying families
- Women receiving ₹1,000+ per month from other government pension schemes
- Families owning a four-wheeler (tractor excluded)

- Enter bank account and mobile number
- Upload photograph

- Note the application reference number

- Attend Ladli Behna enrollment camps organized at ward/panchayat level
- Carry Aadhaar card, Samagra ID, and bank passbook
- Camp officials fill the application form and verify documents
- Biometric/photo verification done on the spot

Can widows and divorced women apply?
Yes, widowed, divorced, and separated women are eligible. They are classified as "married" (previously married) under the scheme guidelines.
What is Samagra ID and how to get it?
Samagra ID is Madhya Pradesh's family and individual identification system. Apply at samagra.gov.in or at your Gram Panchayat/Ward office. You'll get a family ID (8 digits) and individual ID (9 digits).
Can I receive Ladli Behna and PM-KISAN both?
Yes, Ladli Behna is a state scheme and PM-KISAN is a central scheme. Eligible women can receive both.
