Frequently Asked Questions

I am OBC (creamy layer). Am I eligible?

No — OBC eligibility is limited to non-creamy layer (annual income below ₹8 lakh). If your family income exceeds this, you do not qualify for OBC category.

Can I choose any coaching institute, or only government-empanelled ones?

Only empanelled institutes are covered under the scheme. The government selects reputed institutes and pays fees directly. Private arrangements outside this list are not reimbursed.

When does the application window open?

Applications typically open once or twice a year. Check sje.rajasthan.gov.in for current year announcements.

I am already enrolled in a coaching class and paid fees myself. Can I get reimbursement?

No — the scheme works prospectively. You must apply before joining the coaching, and the government pays the institute directly. Prior self-paid coaching is not reimbursed.

Is Anuprati Coaching different from the older Anuprati Incentive Scheme?

Yes — the old Anuprati Protsahan Yojana gave cash incentives after clearing IAS/RAS prelims. Mukhyamantri Anuprati Coaching Yojana (launched 2021) covers actual coaching costs + stipend. The older incentive scheme continues separately.
