How to Register

Step 3 — Gram Sabha Approval

Step 4 — Annual Payment

After approval, ₹7,000 is credited to your Aadhaar-linked bank account once a year. Check your bank account for the payment.

1. I am a daily wage farm worker. I own a small house in the village but no farm land. Am I eligible?

Yes. The scheme requires that you have no agricultural land — residential plot or house does not disqualify you. Being a daily wage farm labourer with no farm land makes you eligible.

2. I do farm work 6 months and construction work 6 months. Am I still eligible?

Agricultural labourers who also do other work are typically eligible if their primary identity and registration is as an agricultural labourer. The gram panchayat will verify. If construction work is your primary income, eligibility may be questioned.

3. My wife is the registered agricultural labourer. Can she get the benefit?

Yes. The benefit is individual — if your wife is the registered landless agricultural labourer, the ₹7,000 is credited to her Aadhaar-linked account.

4. Is there a separate scheme for non-agricultural landless workers in CG?

For landless construction workers, check BOCW Chhattisgarh — Building and Other Construction Workers welfare scheme. For other non-agricultural landless workers, check the Chhattisgarh Social Security schemes at the District Social Welfare office.
