What is YSR Aarogyasri?

YSR Aarogyasri is Andhra Pradesh government's comprehensive health protection scheme that provides free cashless treatment for 2,500+ medical and surgical procedures at government hospitals and over 400 empanelled private hospitals. There is no monetary cap per family — treatments are covered without a limit.

This is different from PM-JAY (₹5 lakh cap) — Aarogyasri in AP covers all eligible procedures without an annual cap.

How to Use YSR Aarogyasri

Step 1 — Get Aarogyasri Health Card

Your Aarogyasri Smart Health Card is linked to your ration card. Verify yours:

1. Visit aarogyasri.ap.gov.in
2. Or check at the nearest Village Secretariat

Step 2 — Go to Empanelled Hospital

Visit any Aarogyasri empanelled hospital (govt or private). Find hospital list at the Aarogyasri portal.

Step 3 — Show Card at Help Desk

Show your Aarogyasri card + ration card at the hospital's Aarogyasri help desk. They verify eligibility in real time.

Step 4 — Free Treatment

All listed procedures are done cashless. The hospital claims from the government.

Step 5 — Travel Reimbursement

After discharge, claim ₹750 travel reimbursement at the help desk.

1. My ration card is from Telangana. Can I use AP Aarogyasri?

No. AP Aarogyasri is for Andhra Pradesh ration card holders. Telangana residents should use the Aarogyasri scheme under Telangana government.
