What is YSR Rythu Bharosa?

YSR Rythu Bharosa is the Andhra Pradesh government scheme providing annual income support to farmers and agricultural labourers. Launched in 2019, it delivers direct cash transfers to farmers without any middlemen.

The scheme integrates state funds with central PM-Kisan for a combined annual support of ₹13,500 per farmer household.

Frequently Asked Questions

I own 0.5 acres. Am I still eligible for the full ₹13,500?

Yes — even small landholders (including those with fractional acre holdings) are eligible for the full support amount. The amount is per household, not per acre.

My land is registered in my father's name but I cultivate it. Who gets the money?

The support goes to the Pattadar (registered landowner) — your father. However, if you can prove tenant/lease cultivation, the state component for tenant farmers may be available to you. Register as a tenant farmer at the village secretariat.

I already get PM-Kisan. Will I now get an extra ₹13,500 or only ₹7,500 (state part)?

You get both — PM-Kisan gives ₹6,000/year (from central government) and Rythu Bharosa state component gives ₹7,500 (₹5,500 + ₹2,000). Total = ₹13,500/year if you're enrolled in both.

I moved to another state but my land is in AP. Am I still eligible?

Rythu Bharosa is for actively cultivating farmers. If you live outside AP but still farm your AP land (or have a tenant farming it), eligibility may vary. Consult the village secretariat for your land.

Are schemes under YSRCP government continuing under TDP (new government)?

Check current notifications — state scheme names and implementation may change between governments. The underlying PM-Kisan central scheme continues regardless of state government.
