What is Meri Fasal Mera Byora?

Meri Fasal Mera Byora (MFMB) — meaning "My Crop, My Details" — is the Government of Haryana's mandatory crop registration portal at fasal.haryana.gov.in. Every Haryana farmer must register their crop, land, and sowing details on this portal before selling crops at government mandis or claiming any agricultural scheme benefit.

Why it matters: Without MFMB registration, Haryana farmers cannot sell wheat, paddy, or other crops at MSP rates through HAFED/government procurement. It is also required for:

  • Crop damage compensation (from floods, drought, hail)
  • PM Fasal Bima Yojana (crop insurance)
  • Agricultural input subsidies
  • All state agriculture department schemes

What Information to Register

When registering on MFMB, you enter:

  • Farm details: Khasra/khewat number, area under cultivation
  • Crop details: Which crop (wheat/paddy/mustard etc.) was sown, approximate date of sowing
  • Land ownership: Own or tenant farming
  • Bank account: For MSP payment or compensation credit

Who Must Register?

  • All Haryana farmers planning to sell crops at:
    • Government procurement centres (HAFED, HSAMB mandis)
    • Regulated mandis for MSP procurement
  • Tenant farmers (those who farm leased land)
  • Farmers claiming crop damage compensation
  • Farmers taking crop insurance (PMFBY)

Frequently Asked Questions

I forgot to register before the deadline. What should I do?

Unfortunately, late registrations after the government procurement deadline may not qualify for MSP procurement in that season. However, you can register for the next season. Some years, deadline extensions are given — watch for announcements on agriharyana.gov.in.

I grow wheat on 3 different plots. Do I register all of them?

Yes — enter each khasra number separately with the area under wheat on each plot. All plots should be registered to claim full MSP procurement entitlement.

I am a tenant farmer and the land is in the owner's name. How do I register?

Tenant farmers can register using the landowner's khasra details + a signed lease/rent agreement. Both tenant and owner cannot register for the same plot for the same season.

I registered on MFMB. Where do I sell my crop for MSP?

After registration, go to the assigned Haryana mandi/procurement centre on the allotted date/slot. Take printout of your MFMB registration. HAFED/HSAMB agents will verify and weigh your produce.

How is payment made for MSP sales?

Directly to your registered Aadhaar-linked bank account via RTGS/NEFT — typically within 72 hours of the crop being weighed and accepted at the mandi.
