What is Mukhyamantri Abhyudaya Yojana?

Mukhyamantri Abhyudaya Yojana is the Uttar Pradesh government scheme that provides completely free coaching to students preparing for competitive examinations including UPSC IAS/IPS, UPPSC PCS, SSC, NDA, JEE, NEET, and other national and state-level exams.

The scheme was launched on Basant Panchami 2021 and has trained over 2 lakh+ students. Coaching is offered by experienced IAS/PCS officers and subject experts — at no cost to the student.

How to Apply — Step by Step

Online Registration

  1. Go to abhyuday.up.gov.in
  2. Click "Registration"
  3. Enter name, mobile number, Aadhaar (or UP residence proof)
  4. Select:
    • Course/Exam you are preparing for
    • Batch type: Online or Offline
    • For offline: Select divisional headquarters (Lucknow, Agra, Prayagraj, Kanpur, Varanasi, Gorakhpur, etc.)
  5. Submit → receive confirmation SMS with batch schedule

Offline Classes

Available at divisional headquarter centres across UP. Students from nearby districts can attend in-person classes. Some centres have hostel accommodation for outstation students — ask at the centre.

Can a student from another state apply?
