What is PM Kisan Beneficiary Status?
PM Kisan Samman Nidhi provides ā¹6,000 per year in three installments of ā¹2,000 to eligible farmer families. The beneficiary status check lets you verify whether you are registered, track your installment payments, and identify any issues blocking your payment.

How to Check Beneficiary Status Online
Method 1: PM Kisan Portal
- Visit pmkisan.gov.in
- Click on "Beneficiary Status" in the menu (or go directly to pmkisan.gov.in/BeneficiaryStatus.aspx)
- Enter any one of the following:
- Aadhaar number
- Registered mobile number
- Bank account number
- Click "Get Data"
- Your status and payment history will be displayed
Method 2: PM Kisan Mobile App
- Download the PM Kisan app from Google Play Store
- Open the app and tap "Beneficiary Status"
- Enter your Aadhaar number or mobile number
- View your registration status and payment details
Method 3: Through CSC or Agriculture Office
- Visit your nearest Common Service Centre (CSC) or District Agriculture Office
- Provide your Aadhaar number or registration details

Understanding Your Status

How to Check Installment History
On the beneficiary status page, you can see all past installments:
- Installment number (1st through current)
- Amount credited (ā¹2,000 per installment)
- Date of credit
- Status (Success/Failure/Pending)
If any installment shows "Payment Failure", note the reason and take corrective action (see fixes below).
Common Issues & Quick Fixes
Status: "Pending for approval"
- Your land records are being verified by state authorities
- Contact your local Patwari/Lekhpal to expedite verification
- Ensure your land mutation is complete if you recently acquired land
Status: "Rejected"
- Check the rejection reason on the status page
- Common reasons: government employee, income tax payer, institutional landholder
- If rejected incorrectly, contact your District Agriculture Officer with supporting documents
Status: "Payment Failure"
- Aadhaar not linked to bank account ā visit your bank and complete Aadhaar seeding
- Bank account closed or inactive ā reactivate your account or update bank details
- Name mismatch ā ensure Aadhaar and bank account names match exactly
- Update details via "Updation of Self Registered Farmer" on the portal
No Record Found
- Your registration may not have been submitted successfully
- Re-register at pmkisan.gov.in under "New Farmer Registration"
- Or visit your local agriculture office for assisted registration

Yes, you can check any beneficiary's status if you have their Aadhaar number, mobile number, or bank account number. No authentication is required for status checks.
How many installments have been released so far?

My status shows registered but I never received any payment. Why?
